Navsari Agricultural University is engaged in education, research and extension. The dissemination of new innovations/technical know-how is pivotal role of extension education through skill oriented/vocational training programmes. Considering the thrust area and increased importance of value addition Government of Gujarat established School of baking under the Navsari Agricultural University (erstwhile GAU) in the year of 1979-80. The training is imparted to boys and girls for Preparation of different bakery products in this school.
